The kelly blue book of a 2009 Nissan can vary by the model of the vehicle. If you have a Nissan Altima and a Nissan Maxima they are going to be different. You are also going to have to consider in the mileage and features.
Hard starting, loss of power, & poor fuel mileage.
WHAT GOING ON WITH IT.........OR BETTER YET...GO TO ADVANCE AUTO.THEY WILL COME OUTSIDE AND TEST IT FOR FREE....................BUDDY MACK
Maxima is a excellent car, but before you buy it, ask for Maintenance log book (history) of the car, or take it a certified Mechanic for inspections.
When an ABS light comes on, the ABS function of your brake system is disabled. Once this has happened, you cars brake system is reverted back to a regular brake system. In most cases, an ABS light being on means there is no communication from the wheel speed sensor to your Brake Control Module (B.C.M.).You could drive the vehicle in this condition as long as the Brakes and Bearings are within drivability condition.
look down behind intake manifold by firewall...you'll see an elbow like valve with a vaccum line going to power brake now to your left look down youll see a hose that's difficult to get off...pull the hose and there it is
I paid 100 for the part for my 2002 maxima. My mechanic was going to charge me 150 for labor but we looked up the manual and replaced it ourselves for free.99.
I've got a '97 Maxima...I believe it's the switch facing the front of the vehicle, essentially on the side of the tranny. It's got three wires going into it. It should be the only thing with wires on the tranny.
Hi,we have an 01 maxima also and a friend works for Nissan, he put the car on his anilizer and told us it was the rear brake sensor. They are different so you would have to get it checked out at your dealerTomI took my 2001 Nissan Maxima in today with the same problem. Midas wants $415.67 to replace the right rear ABS sensor. I found it online for $136 at PartsGeeks. No, I haven't ordered it but that is a lot cheaper then the almost $300 they quoted me for the part, $68 for labor and almost $15 for another part (whatever that is) plus taxes, etc.Good luck I am going to call places Friday since tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day and everything is closed.
Replace the battery, yours is likely old and weak, wont hold a charge. I havent had the problem re-occur on my 93 Maxima since i replaced mine. Many electrical weirdness problems can be due to a weak battery.
