Did you change your fuel filter when you changed your fuel pump? I would also check for fouled spark plugs, dirty fuel injectors, and vacuum leaks.
If the fuel pump is the cause of the stall out.
your fuel pump can be broken or your fuel injectors...
try replaceing fuel fiter or you may need new tbi injectors i have same problem with my blazer
I would check the fuel pressure first. It could be a clogged fuel filter, or bad fuel pump.
Yes, a bad O2 sensor would cause a 2002 Dodge Dakota to stall. It would also cause bad fuel mileage and hard idling within the vehicle.
fuel filter
If a 2003 Dodge Diesel has a bad fuel pump, the vehicle will probably not start. If it does start, it will not run very long before it starts to spit and sputter and may even stall.
The most common cause of a automobile stalling, while driving, is and electronic fuel pump going bad. The vehicle will begin to stall more and more and eventually not run at all.
Have you cleaned out the intake? The carbon built up in there may cause it to stall. (i.e. the cylinder isn't getting any fuel even though the carb is) If that doesn't work, it sounds like your valves are stuck open or closed; either way, it will start but won't run like that.
The fuel filter could cause a start and stall. Other causes could include the fuel pump, computer, various sensors, and ignition system.
yes
Faulty fuel pump. Contaminated fuel (water). Faulty fuel pressure regulator. Plugged up fuel filter.
