There could be a couple reasons why your car has no spark. * A bad ignition module, which is located beneath your coils * A bad computer * A bad crankshaft position sensor * Faulty wiring I would probly start with the Sensor, or the ignition module, and work you way from there. The ignition module can be tested at you local Autozone. The Crank Pos Sensor is a real pain to get out, has been known to break off in the block, causeing even bigger problems, and is just located in a ackward spot. If your a little faint of heart on tackling a project like this, I would recomend a trip to the dealer, or a local shop.
Look under the vehicle along the frame follow the fuel line from tank
timing gearsI've been told by more than one person that my '91 Cutlass Supreme has timing gears instead of timing chain. . I looked in the book and you should have a timing chain.

The 1991 Cutlass Cierra came standard with a 4 cylinder engine. This would require 4 spark plugs to tune up the engine.
it should be a 15 mm bolt. that's what it is on my 91 cutlass supreme and my 93 beretta.
Does it turn over? Does it have fuel/ spark/ compression?
Perhaps throttle plate is stuck and needs to be freed -try a screwdriver to do so

If your battery was dead and you jumped it to get it started and the gauge shows your not charging you need to replace the alternator.
If you can not see it on the bottom of the rad or on the side members at the bottom of the rad the it dose not have one.
