Fuse blown.Motor has failed. Wiring is open or shorted.Check fuse first.
I would check the fuse first. I take it that the blower motor doesn't work in any speed setting. Switch could be bad. I am not sure if blower has a relay. Owners manual should show all fuse and relay locations.
Blown fuse? Bad blower motor? see if you are getting power to it Bad blower motor resistor? Bad switch?
Blower motor resistor has failed
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait at least 90 seconds to proceed work due to the SRS system.Remove the glove compartment.Detach the blower motor electrical connector.Remove the blower motor by extracting the 3 screws.
Defective blower motor resistor pack.
blower motor resistor is burned out
usually the blower motor resistor pkg. located on or near the blower motor
blower motor won't work
If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. If the fuse is not blown, then it is possibly a defective Blower Motor Resistor Pack, blower motor, or blower motor speed control switch, in that order. If you are saying the blower motor will not work, then check the fuse. Either it's the switch on the dash (unlikely) or the blower motor resistor pack (very likely). The resistor pack is usually easy to replace.
A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
If the blower motor randomly and intermittenly quits and does not work, chances are good the blower motor itself is faulty, if the blower motor does not work on all fan speeds from low through high, it most likely needs a blower motor resistor.
