more than likely a plugged cat. converter
I hope you shut the thing down. If your manifold got so hot it glows I would suspect a clogged catalytic converter. The engine code for your speed sensor probably means it or the wires to it where damaged by the heat radiating from your exhaust.
it could be that your catylitic converter is plugged up. disconect the exhaust system and see if it glows red. if it does connect it back. this could mean that your muffler is the problem. if not this then it could be that an exhaust valve is cracked. the same thing happend to my 1992 ford f150. it could be that your catylitic converter is plugged up. disconect the exhaust system and see if it glows red. if it does connect it back. this could mean that your muffler is the problem. if not this then it could be that an exhaust valve is cracked. the same thing happend to my 1992 ford f150.
Look for a blockage in the exhaust, most likely the cat, or a pinched pipe.
its not properly cooling, You should double check the oil lines running from your engine to the turbo, and then check the exhaust to see if there is a blocked catalytic converter.........you should always work on the exhaust before you get crazy with a turbo, all that hot air needs a fast way out.
this sounds like a bad exhaust gasket. since everything in an aurora is computer controlled the exhaust gas regulator/sensor would sense that there's not as much exhaust coming out as there should be and will increase the idle in an attempt to match protocol. it glows hot because of the principle that air is flammable. if hot gases are allowed to escape around the manifold and they meet with cooler air it will cause the manifold to glow red as if it were on fire. it won't get hot enough to actually catch fire but it will cause irreparable damage to the manifold and heads if it's not corrected immediately! without being able to see this happen i can't be sure, though... maybe post a video on youtube and send me a link...

The bulb glows continuously probably, because the circuit it is installed in, is in the closed position.
