Would start with simple/cheaper to more expensive fixes. Air cleaner, fuel filter, then map sensor. Other than that - fuel injectors.
I only know it fixes Subaru Forester 2010...
Other posts I've seen suggest it is a weak fuel pump and went on to say it was the one in the tank that was replaced and not the one next to the fuel filter under the drivers side of the car. I will try this on my car tomorrow and see if it fixes the sputter.
P0121 - Throttle Pedal Sensor Switch "A" Circuit Range/Performance. Most common fix is to replace the Throttle position sensor.
In my case, it was a crank shaft sensor that went out, causing the cam sensor to go out, which may have led to the killing of the fuel pump. $200 later, hopefully it fixes it.
i have heard alot of people saying that its the speed sensor that fixes it
It sounds like you are losing spark. This would cause an abrupt to die out. Common causes for loss of spark would be the crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor. The crank sensor goes down into the bell-housing and reads off a tone wheel on the flexplate; the cam sensor is in the distributor. Each of these sensors is needed for spark and if one drops out of the engine will die. Hopefully, there will be a code set pointing to one or the other, probably the crank sensor. Sometimes one of these can also short and kill the engine, but it also blanks out the signal of the opposite sensor, and it can't set a code. You may also opt to just replace the crank sensor in that situation and see if that fixes it.

Check your "Kick Down" cable. It helps you transmission shift into the passing gear. If it is stretched or simply worn out,it may cause the problem.
