Why does the signal lights on the 1987 Mazda b2200 do not work?

The normal problem with no turn signals is the flasher relay is bad.It is located on the driver side left hand side above the plastic kick panel adjacent to the hood latch pull handle.It is mounted to metal and beside the door buzzer relay.It is easy to remove simply pull it out and most auto stores like auto zone,advance auto carry this for under 10.00 in cost.
