What it usually turns out to be is a faulty turn signal relay. In more rare instances, there is a short in the turn signal switch in the column. The column switch has tail, brake, and blinker lights wired into it. Good luck

What is the correct way to wire the ignition coil on a 1986 Mazda B2000?

Chiltons Mazda trucks manual has the picture and explanation.

How do you remove the starter on a 1984 Mazda B-2000?

I changed my starter motor on my 1984 B2000 Pickup. Has to be done from underneath. Raise the front end - use jackstands. Remove the negative battery terminal. The holding bolts on the starter are difficult to reach and slow to remove but, with patience, can be done. Space around the motor is tight but with persistance, you can snake it out. Good Luck.

Where is the starter solenoid located on a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck?

Hello, I found the info you want but it is impossible for me to explain because I am learning about these trucks myself. I bought a 1984 B2000 workshop manual from Mazda for around $17.00 and it has full instruction for everything for your truck including a full teardown. The information you want on Chapter 5: page 10 It has full pictures and exploded view of starting motor and solenoid. I wish I could be more of a help because I DO know the frustration. I am going through it myself with a part that I can't find what it does. I even put up a site to ask for help. http://nicknails.com/B2000/index.htm Good luck on your B2000 because if you can keep it running, it's a great little truck. Nick

Why am I not getting any spark from my coil even after replacing it with a brand new one on a 1986 B2000?

Turn key on. Check for power getting to coil. Check all wiring for good connections. If OK, your problerm is most likely in your ignition system. In other words, it's not telling your coil to fire so it's not.

How can you tell if the ignition switch is going bad in a 1987 Mazda B2000 SE-5?

The symptoms may be one of several things. One is when you start the truck the gauges may not like the fuel, water temp, and warning lights do not come on.Another issue as (I have had) start the truck gauges work, warning lights but, when I turn the fan on for air,or heat nothing and had to jiggle the key in the ignition and it came on.Also had to remove the main fuse it is the large black in the center of the fuse block and reinstall to make the fan work. The other possibility is delay of no start or nothing happening when the key is on and not due to the alternator, starter,or battery or bad grounds.Even the dome light, radio not working as another example with the key on or even the truck running but,no power to either items. If you need to replace it just remove the five screws on the steering column, and the key cylinder or ignition is accessable. When replacing disconnect the ground cable on the battery before you do this as not to cause any sparks,or blowing fuses or melting wiring. The average cost of a new ignition is around 130.00 by most auto stores like auto zone, advance autoparts.

Yes, a Mazda B2000 is most definitely a 4-cylinder with a 2.0L engine. However, technically Mazda didn't produce the B2000 as a 1988 model. It was made in 1986-1987. Then in 1989 Mazda made the B2200 Pickup, which is a 2.2L 4 cylinder.
