Is the colour of the fluid green? or red, or does it smell? that's a definite sign that radiator coolant is finding its way onto your floor from the radiator, and if you let it continue and don't top up the radiator fluid inside the engine bay, your engine will overheat and die. Sounds to me like a heater radiator leak, don't drive the car until you are regularly checking the level of the fluid in the radiator and get it to a mechanic to swap that radiator out for a new one. and in addition get the mechanic to flush out the radiator fluid for new stuff.
heater core is going bad.
It's probably mold. You can buy chemicals that are added through the intake that might fix it.
foggy windows on passenger side.... smell of antifreeze in car... lost of radiator fluid.. lose of power..
I would check the radiator coolant bottle for cracks and inspect any hoses to bottle.
the radiator itself no but the coolant that it carries has distinct odor Any paint on the new part could smell.
Depends on the smell. What does it smell like?
because it broke
The smell of antifreeze is very strong and distinct, it does not take much of a leak to smell it. The radiator could still be full and have a small leak. I would check for antifreeze dripping onto the exhaust or on the engine block because when it is hot the smell is much more noticeable from the fumes.
Usually the diet is the prime factor in the smell.
Amniotic fluid is the liquid that surrounds the fetus in the amniotic sac. It is said to have a very distinctive smell, almost sweet-like.
You engine contains coolant, oil, transmission fluid, P/S fluid, brake fluid, gasoline, & windshield washer fluid. Smell of the fluid, and if it has no smell it is not gasoline. If it is not slick to the touch it is not oil, transmission fluid, or P/S fluid. So that leaves brake fluid, or windshield washer fluid. Brake fluid does have a slight smell, and may be slightly slick, if you pay close attention. Look at the area it is coming from and this is a clue to what is leaking. Try laying a piece of white paper under the vehicle and see what it looks like on paper. Color is a clue. You engine contains coolant, oil, transmission fluid, P/S fluid, brake fluid, gasoline, & windshield washer fluid. Smell of the fluid, and if it has no smell it is not gasoline.
