check timing, gas octane, next look at worn connecting rods
It is the octane number range the distributor automatic spark advance can handle without the engine knocking.
Go to Advance Auto Parts and you'll find it. The price would be around $16:00.
I just bought one at my local Advance Auto Parts store for 120.99 Price depends on where you live. Anywhere between 121.00 to 170.00
try vaoline 10w 30 max life oil and pur one oil filter if that dont fix it try a bottle of lucas oil stabilizor u can buy all of this at advance or autozone
timing the engine is done thru the ecu but u could unbolt ur distributor and rotate it to adjust your timing. but be careful. dont advance to much more otherwise u will have knocking problems
take it to your nearest auto parts store(autozone or advance auto) and they will clear the code for you but i would suggest you fix the problem first otherwise it will just come back on
I put regular 87 octane in mine. If yours is knocking or pinging with 87 your timing might be advanced too far. I had to change my distributor because the vacuum advance was advancing it too much.
Either incorrect firing order or way to much advance in the timing.
I'm the person who post this question, and I just want to make clear that use premium gasoline didn't help nORMALL THIS IS CAUSED BY YOUR INGITION TIMING BEING TOO FAR ADVANCE. sOMETIMES CAUSED BY VACUUM HOSE LEAK
