Why does your 1994 Ford Probe 5-speed still smell like it's burning and cut off on the freeway Even though it has had the thermostat distributor cap and some belts and hoses replaced?

Cooling fan is bad, draw's current but will not turn so it overheats. It will eventually melt down. This happened on my 95 GT. I have another 95 GT with the same problem. Replace the main cooling fan. The one on the left or drivers side.
