Sometimes you just have to let the engine warm up a little bit more before you go taking off. If you're in a hurry...rev it up a little bit in neutral.
If it does it all the time it's your clutch most likely.
harley's comet
It won't. That vacuum line tells the distributor When to advance the timing. There isn't enough vacuum loss to stall an engine.
most likely you have a broken wire .you need to run the bike and move wires until you hear the bike start to stall .I would remove the seat .and get behind the oil tank that's where my problem was on my 76 super glide .she would stall out in the middle of the parkway it was crazywhen I had enough I and stripped and rewired the whole bike one wire at a time .and on a 76 superglide the headlight held most of the wires.but i found stripped wires touching the oil tank .after that the bike never stalled again.good luck
76/12 in
most likely a 2.75 gear ratio. That's what mine has, and from what I understand most thunderbirds and markIV lincolns had in 76.
25.333333333 and so on! but if you put it on math you just have to put 25.33
yes you can bolt this trans to a 400 smallblock b ut you need to make sure that you put an attachment on your throttle linkage for the T.V. cable or the trans wont shift out of first gear
076 is an integer and, as a fraction in its simplest form, equals 76/1

Yes you just put a /1 under it. eg 4/1 = 4, 76/1= 76 and 343678/1 = 343678
There is a small "stud" that guides your top gear. Make sure this stud is straight UP. Make sure all studs, including the bottom gear, are straight up. Any timing marks to be straight up.
