Probably swim bladder disease. Dirty water, stress, over feeding (leading to constipation), and temp fluctuations will cause this.
This could be caused by over-feeding. Fish have air bladders and they control how they float in water. If they eat to much this may damage the bladder and in return cause them to float abnormal.
it looks like they have a big bubble in their side
they float belly upl... they float belly upl... float and, you don't really need to know because it will be easy to tell that it is dead.
Fish do not normally "float around" they swim. If your fish is floating/sinking then it is probably dead.
It's Very simple, the reason your betta is on it's side is because it has this sickness called swim blatter disorder it is a sickness where the fish's stomach is bloated so the air bubble in the stomach is to big and makes the fish float up to the top of the tank. The betta is not in pane I heard from this but it is defiantly annoyed. It happens usually in young bettas that eat to much brine shrimp so check if the food your giving it contains any. If your betta however is a two finned betta its probably because your feeding it too much
Betta fish flakes are thin, flat pieces of food that float on the water's surface, while pellets are small, round pieces that sink to the bottom. Pellets are generally better for betta fish as they provide a more balanced diet and help prevent overfeeding.
No, sometimes they float on their side. But some whales have "negative bouyancy" which takes them to the bottom when they can no longer swim.
Your betta fish may be on its side due to a swim bladder disorder, which can be caused by overfeeding, poor water quality, or stress. It is important to monitor your fish's behavior and consult a veterinarian for proper diagnosis and treatment.
