First check the Transmission Mount where it is located in the driver side of the engine under the battery seat.
If good go for Scan check for electric circuit fault..
Last change the Automatic Transmission Fluid and clean or replace the ATF filter ask for kit which may contain 3 letters ATF... And Go Smooth I hope
Does anybody know what this problem is? My 2001 nubira does the same :( I recently had a tire changed, and they mentioned my tirods needed to be replaced, but I don't think that is what is causing this. check busching and ball joints on your lower control arms that will be your probleum you will have to buy the hole arm
Check the hydraulic fluid reservoir for the clutch master, it may be low/empty. Filling it may get you by for awhile but you probably have a leak in the system and it should be fixed.
Changing the gears on a lathe enables it to cut certain pitches of threads.
The reason for the engine to shake and rattle when changing gears could be one of three things. 1. you just don't know how to drive and need to be more smooth when changing gears. 2. Your clutch may not be fully released thus you are just a bad driver. 3. your tranny is shot and a new one is recommended.
rapidly changing gears in anything will hurt the vechicle but not slowing down will not

I have the 2000 model are you talking about rev/neu/ drive/ park gears?
the clutch pedal
You are pushing against the rotation of the transmission when going into the upper gears. When you pull with it in the lower gears, then it is smooth and jumps into place. Or that's what i would think.
There's supposed to be smoother than linkage clutches, and they offer less resistance, which puts less wear on a driver who is driving long distances and constantly changing gears.
