yeah u r right it does somtimes turn off while you r on xbox live and there are multiple reasons
1.your xbox is pirated
2. you live in a remote part of the world e.g Afghanistan or Fiji or even in India
3. your xbox has a hardware failure
4. your xbox gets extremely overheated
5. the voltage fluctuates from 220 volts to 200 volts or even 180
6. th television does not support xbox or Microsoft
7. your gamertag has expired
8. weak internet connection
9.rrod
9. you bought it from a corrupted man
10. your Xbox 360 is "th originAL". which means with 2gb
