im not sure, but i have a 98 Chevy Tahoe and when i go to take off in it,it slips.i have taken it to a repaire place and they changed the Transmission Fluid and filter, but it still does it.
AnswerHi, I have been having the same problem and I was told that the speed sensor is going. Hope that helps. Ron AnswerIs this happening when you try to go just after coming to a stop? (like at a stop sign) The transmission may be hesitating to shift into first from a higher gear. There shouldn't be a noticeable delay in a properly operating transmission.May be the bands in the lower gears too.
Get if fixed for real this time. I hope that it's still under warranty. Does the repair shop have a warranty on their repairs? Try to get them to reduce the price since you have already paid to get it fixed the first time and they didn't do it properly. Absolutely do not pay the full price. You have already forked out money. They need to do the job right this time. And don't let them pad the bill to make it higher just to make you pay the full amount anyway.
Yes. From low fluid, plugged filter, or an internal failure.
The bands may be weak, it may be low on fluid.
Your transmission might slip on your ML320 because the transmission fluid is low or because the transmission is damaged. The most common cause of transmission slip is wearing of the transmission.
Low on transmission fluid if not try having the system flushed they change trans fluid filter flush out all the old and put in new fluid should solve if not low on fluid.
It will start to slip
check your transmission fluid, if it is low it will slip
The most common cause of a automatic transmission jerking, when shifting, is low transmission fluid. Fill the transmission to the full mark.
Not sure what you are referring to. On some transmissions it is the highest gear on others (8 and 9 speeds) it is a low gear. Not sure what you are referring to. On some transmissions it is the highest gear on others (8 and 9 speeds) it is a low gear.
L - Low gear
Low fluid level would be the first and simplest thing to check.
If it's an automatic transmission the linkage needs to be adjusted. On a manual transmission when it pops out of gear it means there may be a bad synchronize for that gear a mechanic will need to repair. Once in a while a manual transmission will start doing this if it is low on gear oil.
