Your heater will blow cold air only.
It doesn't really blow it out it just warms the cold air.

No, not if it's on a heat setting. Most home thermostats have a "Fan" setting that will blow cold air if the attic is cold.

Put on socks. Or, like I did this morning while getting ready for school, stand on the heater. (we have electric heat, which comes up in vents). I also have tried using a blow dryer when I was drying my hair, and the bathroom floor was cold so I blow dried my feat.
