Lack of Electrical Power in a Circuit

What you describe suggests that the problem has something to do with what is called an "open circuit condition." IF the problem is not an open ["burned out"] fuse, then it is probably one or more of the following:

  • A connector in that circuit has become "unplugged" / disconnected.
  • The contacts within a connector have become corroded so that current can't flow.
  • The contacts within a connector have become "loose" and don't make adequate contact.
  • A conductor [wire] in that circuit has been cut or broken.

Another possibility is that the "flasher"module [a type of relay] has become defective. There are probably a few more causes that I can't think of right now
