Have you checked the level of coolant in your radiator - have you tried bleeding the system of air. - After changing a head gasket I found the system to be airlocked which almost caused us to overheat the engine til we bled the system of air. If yes, then could be the thermostat - loose connection or faulty thermostat I would start with these things first. Could also be the fan is knackered.
