I think that Valentines Day is getting a little over commercialized. It used to be about dates and spending a day with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. But now its about just buyng the nicest present that are on commercials like a Tiffany ring or Lindtt Choclates.

∙ 9y agoJust because stores are cashing in on Valentine's Day, does not mean you have to go commercial. You can make homemade gifts and cards and even make your own candy treats. The idea is to show your loved one that you care. One of my favorite memories is my husband bought a bag of heart shaped balloons and put them all over the living room.
