I think that Valentines Day is getting a little over commercialized. It used to be about dates and spending a day with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. But now its about just buyng the nicest present that are on commercials like a Tiffany ring or Lindtt Choclates.
Just because stores are cashing in on Valentine's Day, does not mean you have to go commercial. You can make homemade gifts and cards and even make your own candy treats. The idea is to show your loved one that you care. One of my favorite memories is my husband bought a bag of heart shaped balloons and put them all over the living room.
The model on the PajamaGram commercial is Anna Easteden. The commercial appears on TV the most during Valentines Day.

Valentines Day was for Saint Valentine. Most stores just wanted to make it a holiday so they could get money by selling candy so they started the holiday Valentines day on the feast day of Saint Valentine
