Why is it that when added antifreeze to your car and then when you drove it it started to leak and your car was smoking really bad then after you got home and turned it off you found what you think WA?

did you add the anti freeze directly to the radiator or to the overflow tank? if you added to the radiator when engine was still warm the radiator just boiled the new anti freeze right out of the overflow tube and onto your engine which made it look like smoke[steam]. Have your system flushed and checked for leaks. It could be just gunked up or you could have a leak. The worst would be a bad water pump but stop adding antifreeze unless its just to get to the garage{and unless your up in Alaska or buffalo,NY mix at least 1/3 water in with the anti freeze. your wasting money because you don't need 100% pure antifreeze in most of the U.S.
