ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE BLOCK
V8 is on the passenger side rear of the block. V10 and diesel it is on the passenger side front of the engine.
The block heater is located on the front passenger side of the engine compartment. It may be taped to the harness near the passenger side battery.
Assuming this is a 4.3 engine, remove the block coolant drain plugs. There is one on each side of the block. The passenger side is towards the front of the block and the drivers side is towards the back.
It's either on the drivers side on the engine block or the passenger side on the block depending on the engine in your vehicle.
Pretty much anywhere on the engine block, but factory location is right front corner of the block. That is the passenger side of the vehicle. Right and Left are determined by driver setting in vehicle. Left side is drivers side, Rt side is passenger side no matter what direction you are looking at.
