Probably your oil sending unit may be defective. You may have excessive bearing wear. Have it checked with an oil pressure guage to be sure. Manually screw the guage in where sending unit is.

If it's just one way and it wont shut off then its probably just to turn signal switch.

just buy the ANY MAKE AND MODEL. when i asked for some for my 2001 eclipse they said that would be perfect.
there is no gt turbo. there was only the gs turbo and the gsx which was turboed, the gt didn't come til the 3rd generation eclipse which was in 2000 but 2000+ are all non-turboed.

Mitsubishi eclipse is famous because of failing transmission. If I were you I would start with checking transmission fluid level. But most likely you will have to change transmission or fix one you have.
I just replace rotors and pads on my 01 eclipse gt for $100 canadian. This is the price for the parts only. Labour was extra.
If you want to change the light you have to remove the right rear internal panel (located in the trunk). Only after removing the panel you will gain access to the light. Then it's just matter of removing nuts replacing the light and putting everything together.
I would start by checking the battery and fuses.
If you are talking about a yellow symbol that kind of looks like a Miniature Jail, then that is a light for low coolant in your reservoir. Fill it up and you should be golden.
K&N or AEM will work just fine.
