WE know v=IR ,the bulb have resistance which will be added and decrease the current as above formula (Volatage constant)

Answer

It depends how they are connected. If they are connected in parallel, then each lamp will be operating at its rated power and will draw its rated current -assuming the lamps are identical, then the supply current will be four times larger than the current drawn by any one of the lamps (their combined resistance will be one-quarter of their individual resistance).

On the other hand, if they are connected in series, then their resistances are additive and the resulting current falls as each lamp is added to the circuit. And, as none of the lamps is subject to its rated current, none of them will operate at their rated power.

Full wave rectifier using RC triggering circuit with diagram?

A full-wave rectifier (sometimes called a "bridge" rectifier) produces output current on both half-cycles of the input AC waveform. ******************************************** There are two types of full wave rectifier circuit. One uses four diodes in a "bridge"configuration and is fed from a simple transformer winding. The other uses two diodes and needs to be fed from a centre tapped transformer winding.

220 Pressure washer with a 4 wire plug red black white green and want to change it to the 3 prong dryer plug?

I wouldn't advise it. Your pressure washer has a four conductor plug for a reason. It requires its two hot conductors providing 220 volts, a neutral which is likely being employed in a small circuit board or safety switch and an earth ground which is needed to provide path to ground for stray current and short circuit protection. Don't reinvent the wheel.

How do you replace the headlight bulb in a 2005 Cadillac STS?

2004 Cadillac CTS bulb replacement: Purchase the correct replacement bulb(s) first, before disassembling the vehicle. See sources and related links below for replacement bulb information. Then consult your owner's manual for the replacement procedure. The owner's manual is the best place to start for bulb replacement. You may want to consider replacing both left and right at the same time in order to keep brightness and color equal (optional).

How many bulbs of 8 ohms should be joined in parallel to draw a current of 2 Amphere from a battery of 4 volt?

Using Ohm's Law E=IR, we would need four 8 ohm bulbs in parallel to draw a total circuit current (I sub t) of 2 amps. Each of the four branches would have .5 amps flowing through the bulb.

Why would nothing happen if a bulb blew up in a parallel circuit?

The total current in the circuit would be reduced by the amount of current that was supplying the bulb. No other bulbs in the circuit would be affected. The comparison is driving on a highway. If you are driving on a two lane highway and the car in front of you slows down, you must slow down. If you are driving on a four lane highway you may drive beside (parallel) to the car, so if that car slowed down you would not be affected.

Can i build a electric circuit by using wire a bulb a battery?

yes! connect all the bulbs in parallel.. i.e. battery positive terminal will be tied to one side terminals of bulb and other terminal to the other. but it will result in less power delivered.. and fast battery usage..

How many T8 fixtures can go on one 20 amp circuit?

Divide 20A by the Amps listed on the label of each fixture ballast. A T8 bulb will use an electronic ballast. They generally run 1A for four 4 foot bulbs. Try 15 four bulb fixtures per circuit and use a 20A rated switch.

How can we place FOUR 60 watt bulbs in same distance?

If you are asking about placement of four bulbs in a row, take the overall measurement of the room and divide the distance by the number five. Example, room is 20 feet long, divided by 5 equals 4 feet. The first bulb will be 4 foot off the wall and the remaining 3 bulbs will be 4 feet apart. The last bulb will end 4 feet from the opposite wall.

How many Muslims does it take to change a light bulb?

Choose one of these and call the doctor in the morning... A) Five. One to change the light bulb and four to chant "Allah is great". B) None. If the bulb has broken, it is the will of Allah and it would be blasphemy to attempt to change it. C) Four. One to change the bulb, one to check if changing light bulbs is legal in the Quran, one to blow up the person who changed it and one to protest that Islam stands for peaceful change of light bulbs.

What are the disadvantages in using a series circuit?

Series:It is impossible to control the bulbs individually. This is one reason that series circuits are not practical for use in home lighting: It is not possible to control the lights in different rooms throughout the house on the same circuit. For example, if someone wanted to read the newspaper or watch television, he would have to turn on a switch that would put on every light and electrical appliance in the whole house. Also, in a series circuit, the more output devices you add the slower the current becomes. If these output devices were, for example, bulbs, this would mean that the brightness of the bulbs would be dimmed. Another disadvantage of a series circuit is that if a bulb were broken or the pathway broken in any way, the other bulbs would go out too.Advantages are that you can add more power sources, like batteries, and increase the force of the output which grants you more power. In Parallel, however, the power stays at the same voltage of the original power source. For example, if you were running a circuit on a 5-volt battery and it kept the bulb going for two hours and then added another 5-volt battery, it would keep the bulbs going for four hours instead, but it would only give out 5-volts instead of increasing it to ten.Parallel:Advantages would be that, if it were light bulbs that were the output devices linked in parallel, if one bulb broke the others would continue going. Also, the brightness of the bulbs would be greater than the brightness of bulbs in series.Disadvantages are that there could be a risk of fire in some cases. Another would be that, if you have multiple power sources, the power stays at the same voltage as that of the single power source. In parallel, increasing the number of output devices does not increase the resistance like it does in series.
