I had this once after driving through a puddle that was MUCH deeper than expected. must have come up and over somehow...
Is it there all the time? check door seals, sun roof and if that's not it, check pipes under the bonnet for leaks -- they'll show up with green stuff (verdigris) around the source of the leak.

The dealership have the car again at the moment stripping it down (again!) and can give me no answer neither can Ford.
