All cats get that. My adult cats have that. Don't you wake up in the morning with eye gunk or crust? It's essentially the same thing. It's the feline's eye cleaning itself of dirt, and it gathers in the corners usually. Now if this is an abnormal color, I highly suggest you see a veterinarian.
