Vacuum leak in one of the hoses
I own a Jeep Cherokee Sport, found that a broken vacuum hose was the culprit. When there is a vacuum leak, the blower-ventilation defaults to blowing through the defrost vents. Once the vacuum lines are fixed, the other ventilation doors are able to function and open. Your set-up and placement of your lines may be different, but mine were located in the front-lower right of the engine compartment, running up the right side and ending in the back/firewall. The lines are cheap and easy to replace, took about 5 minutes and 3 dollars!
If a Jeep Grand Cherokee's air conditioner is not blowing any air it could mean that the blower motor has went out. Also the AC controls could be bad.
the failure is with the "blend door" very expensive unless you are mechanical.
Sorry i can't help u with thisπ
A "D" with a circle around it is the overdrive off button.
Coolant level is probably low, Have it checked for an antifreeze leak.
It did not have one from the factory. If it has one now, it is an add on kit.
Clicking sound in grand Cherokee can be due to a faultyÊ actuator, or a cracked door. Actuator may causeÊ a clickingÊ sound when one of its plastic gears is broken.
It is integrated to the rear window defrost. When the one button is engaged, all three elements become energized.

The air conditioning system and the fan are two different parts on the car. check the fuses first, then the fan motor unit which is under the dashboard on the passenger side. Wires leading to the fan unit could have come discontented or shorted.
