You add fluid through the dipstick tube. There is no cap like the oil.
On the top of the transmission there is a red cap. that cap comes off and you add fluid through there.
transmission fluid is uaually added through the trans dipstick tube.
unscrew the cap that has the breather hose coming out of it on the transmission and but your finger in it and if you can feel the fluid its full
There is no transmission fluid cap as such. The dipstick is the closest thing there is to a cap. If you need to add fluid simply pour the correct fluid down the dipstick tube.
pour it in through the dipstick tube
Transmission fluid doesn't have a cap. It's added with a small funnel to the dipstick tube.
To add fluid to the transmission. Pull the dipstick that checks the Transmission fluid and add it through there. The Tranny Dipstick tube is the fill tube. You will need a tranny fluid funnel with a thin end to insert into the tube
The only place to fill the tranny fluid is through the tranny dipstick drain plug underneath
You refill transmission fluid through the transmission dipstick tube. Remove the dipstick and, using a funnel, pour fluid into tube slowly in small amounts and check level each time. DO NOT OVERFILL!!! Good luck.
The transmission fluid is added down the dipstick tube.
1st of all the term is transmission fluid and 2ndly the transmission does not have a cap. The cap that you are incorrectly referring to is actually the stick you use to monitor the levels of the fluid and its housing is the mechanism you utilize to add transmission fluid if needed. Since you don't know, obviously the vehicle must be running when checking the fluid. The oil cap will say or state oil, however the transmission stick will not. hope I've been some help to you. Good luck.
