Why joint family system is only seen in India and Pakistan and not in other countries of the world?

This is due to more affection in the families. In India children often live with their parents after marriage whereas in west children want to be separate after marriage. In India people like to enjoy more in families as it is also said that Sharing multiplies joy and divides sorrow. Respecting elders and obeying them is also one of the vital reason.
