anhydrous copper sulphate is white. when water is added it turns blue, in essence it can be used to detect the presence of water. hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!
Sodium Sulphate greatly extends the number of useful cycles the battery can go through (charge/discharge), it also extends the amount of time a given current can be taken before the voltage starts to fall significantly. Not all batteries have this added but the more expensive ones with over 500 cycles claimed almost always have it. Batteries offering only 200 cycles or so will hardly ever have the sulphate added - but around 20g per cell for a normal battery CAN be added if the battery is new or in generally good condition. Adding it to older batteries with a lot of "sludge" and/or sulphate crystals can encourage the battery to develop an interal short.
You would need to add Sulphuric acid to make Sodium Sulphate + Water :)
White precipitate of barium sulphate
Sodium sulphate increases the concentration of sulphate ions. So strontium sulphate solubility decreases.

Sodium sulfate solution is neutral; the red litmus is purple.
Barium chloride in excess is added to be sure that the reaction is complete.
Sodium chloride is added to precipitate the soap.
Green Percipitate
I think sodium Hypo chlore is act as a color removal reagent. it is used to develop the sulphate color to white. If any other reasones are there please inform me.
