Because George Bush wanted to invade Iran for the oil resource and the only way they could possibly do that is to sacrifice a few 1000 people to invade them a to make it look like an act of self defence and this all happened because Iran etc were planning to put a hold on the oil unless the western countries paid more money for the oil being produced
