Why won't 1994 Mazda b4000 come out of 4x4 or go into 4x4lo neither switch seems to work?

i have the same problem right now....i put it in 4x4 then 4 hi and low lights flash 6 times and stop for about 5 min..i looked in to it and found out that my trasfer case is broken....it cost about 100$ for the part....it should be easy to replace i have the same problem right now....i put it in 4x4 then 4 hi and low lights flash 6 times and stop for about 5 min..i looked in to it and found out that my trasfer case is broken....it cost about 100$ for the part....it should be easy to replace
