Most likely the switch on your driver door panel needs replacing(ebay!). Or if you or someone you trust has a multimeter(electricians tool) you can check the existing switch. You must first remove the switch from your panel. Hope this helps and I hope your switches are'nt clustered(all together).
It is possible that the door jamb switch is weak. Starting with the drivers door, wiggle the switch and then close the door; if this helps to shut off the light ,replace the switch.
There is most likely a yellow switch in the trunck on the left side (drivers side) to switch from auto to manual
sounds like a problem with the grounding on switch
Replace the switch ! It is really not that expensive and it will fix the problem !! If it works from the drivers door replace the switch on the door that doesn't work ! If it works at that door replace the drivers switch ! KM
The first and cheepest thing to check is the fuses. located on the side of the dash by the passengers door, another is under the hood on top of the battery. The next would be lock switch. It is easily installed, no tools needed. The drivers side power switch is a master switch. This means that power feeds from the drivers lock switch to the passenger door. If your key fob will unlock and lock the doors but the switch will not I would replace the drivers door lock switch.
You cannot manually close a power window. You must repair the problem causing it not to work. Check the fuse, power window switch, and if they are good, you may need a new motor.
A lamp holder that turns on from a wall light switch not a switch on the device.
Sounds like a defective switch on the driver's door disconnected wires on either door or you have a lock out switch turned on... with driver door, i suggest pulling your "panel" off and verify your switch is actually connected and if it is, then replace the switch
Check to see if you are getting power to the window motor- if so motor is bad If not check switch and wiring to same. Common problem is an open wire in the door hinge area
Depends. If you're in the military it's not a problem, but if you're a civilian you must switch over your drivers license.
I replaced the drivers door switch on mine and it took care of the problem
I had the same problem with my 1997 Grand Cherokee and it was the dash mounted automatic light switch. The problem was also solved by turning the headlamps on manually.
