Check the fuse and the relay. If those two are good you may have a bad blower motor.
The coolant add/overfill jug is on the left side of the motor when your looking at it. Add coolant up the closest line towards the top, and only when the engine is cold.
You have an air bubble. The coolant level sensor is high in the block and you need to bleed the suystem of air in order to turn the light off. Not doing so will create hot spots in the engine block and eventual failure.

The coolant temp sensor is located directly under the EGR valve, just in back of the upper radiator hose connection on the engine. The sensor has 2 wires and uses a 14mm socket to replace
A 50/50 mix of distilled water and Dexcool antifreeze.
Too little coolant, or a plugged coolant line.
Sounds to me like a cracked head and or a blown head gasket, i had a similar problem but it was on a Saturn

Blown head gasket will do it check your coolant for oil in it and your engine oil for coolant it it...
It will draw it in from the overflow tank when it is needed. Fill that up to the proper line.
