Depress the gas pedal about an inch while the engine cranks will help on fuel injected engines. Carbuerated engines would need to be checked for proper choke operation. Then have the motor tuned up right away. Cranking an engine too long causes wear, drains batteries and burns up starters
check the exhaust pipe to make sure it's not clogged.It will build pressure if it is and won't start
You may have gotten moisture in the distribature cap , Pull it off and dry it out
it might be your battery it so cold that it doesn't have the power to turn your engine over. i pull mine in the garage so it doesn't get as cold
batteries are rated by their number of cold cranking amps or CCAs the battery you have in your car is either bad or does not have enough CCAs to start a cold engine

Try the pick up coil in the distubitor
Replace the ignition coil.
If it has no spark, then could be ignition coil or ignition control module. If spark, then fuel related. Would need to check fuel pressure. If the fuel pump is in the tank then should hear it hum for a few seconds when turning key to on.
