Possibly inadequate fuel pressure. I forget the Minimum acceptable pressure, but that's easy enough to have checked. It has to have no less then 9 LBS. And no more then 13 LBS. to start and run.
You need to take the fuel line loose on the tank side of the filter and install a
pressure gauge in the line and cycle the key on and off, That will tell you the
fuel pressure. 9 - 13 PSI. is the spec's.
