Why wont your 97 blazer start when it has sat for 4 or 5 hours starting fluid required every time?

you have this problem (i experienced it with my blazer) because the card is either clogged completely or partially clogged. you should take your car to a service center and have them 1)rebuild the carb 2)flush all the gas out of the tanks and lines to ensure that no gunk gets back into the jets.
