Check your starter it may be grounded when hot.
Because the engine gets too hot. Let it cool down before you start it up again. Poor water on it.
Hi i have a r2 motor and it got hot and then wouldnt start so i replaced the water pump as it was broke and now it wont start it winds and theres spark but wont start
I would check and see how much compression you have wet and dry and start from there
You need to buy hot start spark plugs which go on the leading plugs chamber. MAZDATRIX carries them
You need to warm the car up with hot water.
If your 97 GMC Suburban won't start when it is hot outside, check the distributor cap to ensure it is clean. You should also ensure it has plenty of coolant.

Coolant temp sensor, or leaky injectors, bad Ecu, weak battery
freeze plugs?
"hot start" issue. Could be the solenoid, or starter itself.
