might be because oil is dirty, and filer in clutch needs to be cleaned. n0rt

it depends on what year it is and how good of condition it is in. I have a 1971 Honda trail 90 and everything on it is working and all original parts and i could sell this anywhere between $1200 and $1500 because it is an antique so the older it is the more its worth. If you are thinking of buying one tho I'd go with a Honda ct110 because you can get the ct90 and ct110 legalized to drive on the roads and the ct110 is faster.
One can purchase a used Honda CT110 from the following retailers: Trading Post, eBay, Bike Sales, Trial One, Bike Nut, Cycle Trader, Pipe Burn, Motor Cycle, to name a few.
running lean can cause your 400ex to backfire ..if it backfires on deceleration its lean ...if it pops on acceleration its running rich.====carb issues

the ignition coil on a CT110 is inside the frame, under the seat, and can be accessed by removing the battery from the right side, removing the seat/fuel tank, and removing the two nuts securing it to the frame
if you mean it cant get into gear from neutral then your bike probably has a damaged internal shift mechanism, or missing a pin on the shift drum. Take off the clutch side cover (one with the brake lever next to it) and have a look inside to see what is going on.
buy a new one...........smash the old one with a baseball bat and go to the doc!!
