Why would a 1991 Acura Integra idle at 2000RPM what can cause this to keep happening and the car also lacks power after 3000RPM the engine keeps revving yet moves very little?

check your IACV but that is probably not gonna fix it. you won't believe it because it sometimes doesn't set a code but, the temp sensor is shorted internally. change it, reset computer and away she'll go. found that to be #1 cause on most acuras.
