The gear selector indicator is out of adjustment.
* cause it needs to be put in drive to go forward
you have a problem in your torque converter or transmission pump
Came up to a stop light and when the light changed the car would not move.
Because reverse is a lower ratio gear than drive and puts less load on the engine.
Running shoes are generally classified into three catagories. Maximum Stability, Stability, and Neutral. The average person would choose Neutral. Examples of Neutral running shoes would be Nike Air Pegasus and Asics Gel-Cumulus which can be found at most footwear retailers.
Most likely issue is a motor mount collapsed. The second most likely is a misfire.
The light bulb may be burnt out for the dashboard display. The fuse for the dashboard display may be blown. The fuse can be found in the fuse box.
I would replace the neutral safety switch; Buy it from the Ford dealer where they can print out the picture of it along with its location. I hope this helps you. Mark
hey m8 check your trans fluid as i had the same problem there was no trans fluid filled it up and away it went
I have a 1995 Ford Econoline van with an automatic transmission. When I went to drive the car today, the shift gear moved and shifted but would not go into gear. It's refusing to "click" into gear for Reverse, Neutral, or Drive, and has quite a problem clicking into Park as well. When I set the car to drive, it does not move, in fact it acts like it's in neutral. What's wrong with it? Is it the transmission, or possibly something else? If so, what?
If i were you i would start with the catyletic converter ,it'll start cold, start for a minute then stall, start back up but wont drive ,idle, but not drive ,check it out.
Neutral disconnects the rotating engine from the drive shaft, useful when the car is standing still.
