It could be a number of things; anything from a faulty starter, to a misaligned or faulty neutral safety switch. You need to isolate and test to find out WHICH of the myriad of components involved could be faulty. If you don't know how to do that, perhaps it would be best to take it to a professional.
Just connect the battery to the motorcycle battery cables with jumper cables and then start it.
Connect the bad battery to a good battery with jumper cables. Connect the positive terminals first, then the negative terminals. Now try to start the engine. When finished, disconnect the jumper cables in reverse order.
Replace fuse in fuse box under hood that powers the entire fuse box. It will have highest amp rating.

If it were the ignition switch, the vehicle would not start even with a jump. The battery is either not holding a charge or the alternator is not providing the charge to the battery. You can have the battery and the alternator checked (usually free of charge) at an auto parts store,
