Why would a car be low on coolant if it is not leaking anywhere and the indicator light is not on Firestone told me my 99 Pathfinder is dangerously low and they want to test my car to see what it is?

If your not noticing any leaking, check your oil to make sure there is no milky white substance. This would indicate a blown headgasket. Does your vehicle smoke at all? This too would indicate that coolant is getting into your combustion chamber and being blown through the exhaust. When was the last time you added coolant or water? If none of the above apply, pressure test your radiator to eliminate the possibility of a fluid leak by hose or crack in the radiator.
