Low freon, bad compressor, bad clutch, bad pressure switch (could be multiple of these), bad switch...the list goes on. Best bet is to take it to a mechanic for a diagnosis.
What would make a 1899 oldsmobile cutlass ciera start and then die right away?
fuse
cracked or broken wiring, blown fuse
you would use 5W-30W have the same car
The Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera a was front wheel drive model. It was sold by General Motors from 1982 to 1996.
Had the same problem with my 92 cutlass ciera. It turned out to be ac compressor. Probably the clutch.
The "mass air flow" sensor would be located in the snorkel between the air filter box and the throttle body.
it will be either the o2 sensor or the idle air control module. i had the same problem in 2 different cieras and each one had this problem.
Cracked distributer cap or fuel pump
I have a 92 cutlass ciera doing that, would run til it got hot, then die...ended up being the crank shaft sensor. hope this helps
307 c.i.
It seems that they most problems with the 93' Oldsmobile cutlass supreme would be the engine and the break. Those seem to go out the most on this car.
