one possible cause is a bad wheel bearing one that wheel. it will allow the wheel to lean excessivly when turning. I've had this happen on my Jeep several times.
............Usually means the brake pads have worn down to the metal.
Probably your brake pad came off.
Wheel/hub bearing assembly about to depart from your vehicle or your brake pads have worn down to zip.
If the brake pads are not worn out check the backing plate. It is the thin metal plate behind the brake rotor, sometimes it will get bent and rub on the brake rotor.
It's probably a worn suspension part.
brake pads are worn to the metal rivets. You will need to replace pads and rotors. rotors are $35 each and pads are $29-59 for both left and right side.
A damaged/rusted/warped brake rotor on the right front.
Brake pads are worn out=========Replace.
font tire make a whisting sound when turning left Check the front brake pads, it may be the brake warning "squealer" letting you know the brake pads are worn down.
Generally that metallic sound is really coming from your front disc brake sensors, they make a squealing sound when they wear down to a certain thickness of the brake pads allowing a small metal bracket called a brake sensor to rub upon the disc brake rotor in order to aleert the driver its time for the brake pads to be relined. Other things may be belt noise under the hood(loose, worn, etc.) or a pulley(idler/adjuster pulley with worn out bearings) bad alternator bearings, water pump or anything that may have loosened up and is hitting the moving parts in the front of the engine.
More clearly detailed please. And I would love to know how you determined it to be the "anti lock brake light" making the sound even with the car off??
Have your brakes checked. The front brake pads employ a small metal spring to start squealing when the pads are nearly worn out to prevent damage to the rotors. It could be making contact with the rotor, even when the brakes aren't on.
