It would be anybody's guess. You need to take the vehicle to the dealer so they can check it out for you.
AnswerWhen your vehicle is due for an oil change, it is likely the engine light will come on. It has to be reset after the oil is changed. Most of the time the service techs at places like Wal-mart do not do this. In our Cadillac, we just hit the gas pedal 3 times, turn the switch on, then back off then start it. This always works for this car. It might be different with another. Check with your dealer as to how it is reset.Wiki User
