∙ 2011-09-03 04:25:41it would most likely be a bad or maladjusted stop light switch located on the brake pedal assembly
There is rubber plug that is attached to the arm of the brake pedal and presses against the brake light switch. When the brake pedal is depressed the plug no longer presses against the switch. this causes the brake lights to come on. If this rubber plug is broken or missing the brake lights will stay on all the time.
I fixed mine by duct taping a piece of plastic over the hole in the brake pedal arm where the plug goes.
The website listed below, under Related Links, is a blog post describing how to do it. Or you could go to a Honda parts dept and buy the correct part for a measly $2.

∙ 2011-09-03 04:25:41Assuming you have the lights turned off, you are seeing the brake lights. They are more than likely on because the brake light switch is defective or out of adjustment.
The interior lights and rear lights might go out on a 1995 Honda Accord because the light fuse has blown. Check the fuses under the hood or under the steering wheel to confirm.
Fast idle motor is not functioning properly.
yes but why?.......
The license plate light fuse. It's a 10A fuse if I remember correctly. Sounds crazy, but I had no running lights and no lights other than warning lights on my instrument panel and it took me forever to figure it out. Apparently that whole circuit runs off of that one fuse. I have a 2000 Honda Accord, but I would assume it would be the same for a 1992.
What would cause your fuse to blow when you turn on your lights on your 1993 mazda 323 the fuse to the tail lights on dash lights blow?
97 accord engine accerelating by itself.I had a 1995 Honda accord, which, when stopped at traffic lights, would suddenly rev up to 4500rpm and then go down again,to 1000 rpm, doing this repeatedly. It turned out to be the fast-idle valve was faulty, and when replaced, sorted the problem.....hope this may help you.
Next step would be to check the fuses
It may be wired wrong.
yes, as long as the 1992 accord is also an automatic
It illuminates in the run position, and should go out after the engine is started. It would have nothing to do with your brake lights being burnt out.
Bad relay? (points burned and not releasing)
