those two things might have somehow fused together or something inside your fuse box or came in contact w/ each other and screwed things up. get it fixed soon or it could screw up some more things.
It is possible that both of the fuses are bad for the low beam headlights and the cruise control. A loose ground wire could cause the fuses to blow.
The speed sensor on the trans.
This sounds like a direct short my 2001 frontier does that too, i was told it was an electrical malfunction.
There is no isolated fuse for the cruise control. It all runs off the 20A gauges fuse. If you are having trouble with the cruise control I would check the Cruise Control Module or the Cruise control Servo. What symptom is occurring?
the cruise control is broken....
the first thing to check would be the alternator/voltage regulator
4 way flasher switch on top of the steering colum is what I have found better known as the turn signal, wiper, cruise control.
No they do not light up, although it would be nice if they did! As a matter of fact in time the letters will rub off from wear.
Does the "cruise" light come on?
You would have to define what you consider "old". Cruise control has existed in some form since 1900, originally by using a centrifugal governor. "Modern" cruise control dates back to 1948.
