Assuming it didn't shake before, whoever tuned it up goofed somehow. So, pull the spark plugs and check to see if they're the correct ones and properly gapped. Also, check to see if the spark plug wires are installed properly. If all checks out, whoever tuned it up has done something to cause the car to run bad. Impossible to guess what.

2001 Chevy Impala ls and every once in while as you are driving the engine will die What is wrong?

I had the same problem on an Oldsmobile, which is the same 3800 engine. Does it die when youre off the gas coming to a stop? In mine the Idle Air Control sensor was dirty, so the car computer wasnt getting a right reading on the air intake into the eingine so it thought that it was lower than it actually was. in responce the engine adjusts the fluel flow accordingly and there isn't enough to keep the engine going so it stopped. clean the valve or replace it

How much is a motor for a 2000 impala?

I am going to assume you are referring to the engine. There are 3 motors in your car. The fan motor, ABS motor, and blower motor. The device that drives your car is not a motor, it is an engine. The cost of that engine depends on which engine you purchase. The 3.4 or 3.8 V6. Also depends if you buy a new, rebuilt, or used engine. New, either one will be around $2,000 depending on where you purchase it. A Google search will help answer your question.

Can a flat head motor be installed into a 2003 Ranger?

It's an engine, not a motor, and it can be done, provided the engine compartment has enough space to accommodate the inline engine. For, say, a diesel swap with an inline four 3.9 liter Isuzu diesel, it could be done - you're not going to cramp a 6BT Cummins in there, though.

What causes a car to jerk and lose power going up a hill?

It could be a fuel filter or with my 2001 Impala, it was my Catalytic Converter. Is their a check engine light on? Schucks should have a scanner you can use for free to asses the issue. Good luck.
