No,it's low on oil because its burning it. You need a top end rebuild
YOUR OIL IS BURNING so check the oil if thats not it check the carbarator
The oil dip has a low/full hash mark gauge.
While the oil level is low,you won't get smoke but you can cause engine damage if it's too low.If the oil level is low enough that the oil pump starts sucking air or (oil+air),you lose oil pressure and cause damage.Permanent damage can happen after about 20 seconds. Once the pistons and rings have been damaged, you will burn oil and make smoke when you fill up with oil.
I think you make have leaking valve cover gasket(s) that are causing a oil leak on the hot exhaust manifold which will smoke quite a bit. Being low on oil etc. is not good but unrelated.
Where is the Oil filter on a 1997 Kawasaki Bayou 300 ATV?" Where is the Oil filter on a 1997 Kawasaki Bayou 300 ATV?"
2 cycle engine oil. I prefer to use a synthetic designed for ATV's and Snowmobiles. It doesn't smoke as much and stinks much less.
I recomend synthetic 2-stroke oil , either 32-1 or 40-1 should be fine .As long as you can see it smoke alittle out the tailpipe .
is the car low on oil? could be a bad head gaskit that needs to be replaced or your negine is low on oil which is very bad , add oil immediaitely if its low!
You do not have to use so-called ATV oil. ATV oil is the very same oil as used in your automobile. Use any major brand SAE oil in the correct weight. I recommend you use a 100% synthetic oil.
where is the plug on the 400 4x4 ATV to drain the oil? Isn't the 400 a two stroke? No oil in case.
No.
Just over 2 quarts of 10w-40 motorcycle or ATV oil.
